AWS A5.10 ER4043 DURALLOY 4043 TIG rods are a 5% Silicon alloy aluminium welding wire suitable for TIG welding a wide range of cast, wrought alloys containing up to 7% Silicon. Duralloy 4043 has excellent flow characteristics and its not recommended for anodizing. It has a lower weld deposit strength but excellent crack resistance. Used in general construction of furniture and automotive applications where corrosion is not an issue. Can also be used for welding aluminum busbars of a similar grade Use with 100% Argon gas.
