The dynamic ignition system means the machine can be used to reliably weld all types of electrodes up to 5 mm (rutile, basic and cellulosic), in vertical positions, either upwards or downwards. 4 WELDING MODES MMA: welds all rutile, basic and cellulosic electrodes (up to Ø 5 mm). MMA Pulse: ideal mode for rising vertical welding positions (tubing/pipeline, etc.). Frequency and cold-current percentage can be adjusted. TIG DC with lift ignition (Ø 1.6 to 2.4 mm). TIG Pulse: reduces temperature transfer to the workpiece, for welding workpieces as thin as 0.3 mm. 3 MMA WELDING AIDS Adjustable Hot Start: facilitates ignition. Adjustable Arc Force: instantaneous current increase during difficult welding situations. Antisticking: reduces the risk of electrode sticking in the event of contact with the workpiece.
